Due to the public nature of the worldwide web, it is not good practice to display information such as phone numbers and email addresses. In itself such information is not 'secret' but in the context of the worldwide web it sometimes attracts abuse.

For this reason it is proposed to provide 'private' web pages for members of the SHBC community, thus allowing a slighly wider range of information to be shared.

Such pages will be protected by an account name and a password, which in due course will be made known only to members of our community. For added security the password will be changed from time to time.
